St Paul's Covent Garden is a Anglican Christian church in the heart of London's Covent Garden. In 1631, Inigo Jones was commissioned by the 4th Earl of Bedford to design a square, surrounded by mansions, a church and four streets. Work on the church began in 1631, and was completed in 1633, at a cost of £4,000. The church was consecrated in 1638, and dedicated to St Paul. |

times to the present day and including A Ukrainian Prayer especially written by the composer John Rutter
The church was beautifully decorated with flags and floral arrangements in Ukrainian colours.
Our thanks to the church, its members and the audience for their support and generosity.
We are delighted to report that audience donations for entry and refreshments amounted to £1387.00 which has been passed to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal>

Taking as their reference point King Henry VIII, who spent some of his childhood in Eltham Palace, the Grove Singers devised a programme of unaccompanied choral music to entertain and enliven a visit to this wonderful building.
The event was organised by Eltham Arts and Eltham Palace. This was an Eltham Arts Winter Festival 2016 event.

The Church of the Ascension was established as the Dartmouth Chapel in 1697 by Susannah Graham, aunt of William Legge (later Earl of Dartmouth and Lord of the Manor of Lewisham). The church was rebuilt in 1750 and extended in 1838. It became a parish church on Ascension Day, 3rd of May 1883.

The Church of the Ascension was established as the Dartmouth Chapel in 1697 by Susannah Graham, aunt of William Legge (later Earl of Dartmouth and Lord of the Manor of Lewisham). The church was rebuilt in 1750 and extended in 1838. It became a parish church on Ascension Day, 3rd of May 1883.
